Hello Possums. We have decided rather than wait months to get a test pressing and then even longer to get a batch of vinyl pressed we are just going to release them now as a download and sort out the vinyl run down the line sometime.

Hog Porridge and Heffalumping is a ten song 45 minute plus album of material about today’s world and its current problems. I feel that these compositions are important to be released now and should be heard more or less immediately. Topics range from the “War in the Ukraine” to the evils of “Gain of Function Research” as well as getting fired from work again, illegal abortion and people who stymie all your fun.

I have decided to bring this collection out under my own name so as to make it stand a little apart from the other previous Cakekitchen releases. I play all the instruments on it and wrote and recorded all the songs. Bringing it out this way has no reflection of dissatisfaction with the record companies and people who have supported us so far. Far from it! It’s just a case of wanting to try and do this one a little bit differently and in a more immediate from my hands and brain to your ears type way. Thanks so much for continuing to listen and support the music.
